A member of our futsal team, Burhoniddin Sodiqov, gave an interview to the club’s press service.
– First of all, your thoughts on the current season.
– The season is very intense and interesting. Let it be like this until the end. All teams are stronger than each other. There is no clear leader this season. I think that is why the games are interesting. It is clear from the results that any team is offering a fight to the leaders.
– Isn’t it difficult to play against teams with legionnaires?
– Of course, it will be difficult. For me personally, it gives me enthusiasm. That is, legionnaires also give a player an incentive to develop, work on themselves, and grow. Playing against them is fun for me. You can learn a lot from foreign players.
– We defeated Oil-Star. How much did you believe in this victory before the game?
– If you remember, in our first game against Oil-Star, we lost where we had won. We learned enough lessons and tried not to repeat the same mistakes in the second game. In the end, we achieved victory. The whole team worked together and in unity for this victory. We will try to be like this until the end of the season.
– If I’m not mistaken, this is your first call-up to the national team. How proud does this make you?
– I’m happy to be called up to the Uzbekistan national team. This is every futsal player’s dream. My first intention before entering the world of futsal was to play for the national team. If they give me a chance, I will try to justify the coaches’ trust.
– What do you expect from yourself this season?
– I have high expectations for myself. First of all, I want good results and to lead the team to higher positions. Now I expect to bring more benefit to the Uzbekistan national team and help the results with my game.
