In the Uzbekistan Cup quarterfinals, the Railway Boys were taking on FC Buxoro.
The current Uzbekistan Cup winners got off to a confident start. By the middle of the first period, FC Buxoro have slightly moved the action away from their goal. The game pattern did not change after the break, except that the Red & Greens started to enjoy even more possession near the visiting team’s goal.
In the 98th minute, the Railway Boys managed to convert their attacking combo into a goal. Sardor Mirzayev played in Jaloliddin Masharipov, which teed up Sadriddin Abdullaev with a backheel, with the sending the ball into a bottom corner to make it 1-0. In the 101th minute of the first additional time thanks to the personal skills from Azizbek Amonov, FC Lokomotiv extended the lead.
However, the goalie did not manage to mop up the danger after a kick from Sardor Mirzaev: midfielder sent the ball exactly into the corner to complete the scoring. The Red-and-Greens claim a confident 3-0 win.
