– First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone on the Eid al-Fitr holiday. We played football on such a good day and I think the fans liked the game. We wanted to give our fans a beautiful result, but it didn’t work out. Both teams played football today. Sometimes such mistakes happen, and we lost because of our own mistakes.
The fact that Neftchi played on their own field gave the opponent strength. So far, our level with Neftchi is not the same, and this must be understood correctly. Neftchi is getting stronger from year to year, last season they won the championship. The increase in such teams will give impetus to the development of Uzbek football. We will also try to reach this level.
– Today, the players who came off the bench decided the fate of the game. What do you think about this?
– In order to consistently show positive results, we also need to bring our reserve to this level. We are working on this, because this is the demand in the Super League. The team is strong because the reserve of the Uzbekistan national team is strong. Several players from “Neftchi” are candidates for the national team, but we did not pay attention to this before the game. What kind of squad they will play, what kind of football they will play… We have our own task and we will act accordingly. This is the strength of our reserve at the moment. We will work together and gain experience.
