Our team’s head coach Grigory Kolosovsky expressed his thoughts after the match against “Aral”.
– We made two more mistakes than the opponent. In modern football, you need to approach each situation with maximum strength. During today’s 90 minutes, we lagged behind the opponent in this regard. In addition, we should not have given such situations to a team of such high level as “Aral”. Today, there were also problems with the referee. There was a foul on the second goal, and a penalty was not awarded in our favor. This is a reference to the referee’s conscience. We saw the penalty situation, there was a penalty. There was a foul when our defender lost the ball in the second goal. The referee wanted to continue the game, as a result, a goal was scored in our goal. The condition of the field was also not very good. When we went to the pre-match training, the air temperature was above 60 degrees. The field was just burning. It’s very difficult to play football at 6 pm at such a time. The players of the “Aral” team are used to such specific conditions of the field, plus there is very hot weather. Even when I worked at a football school in Latvia, the field there was much better than here. You can’t predict the bounce of the ball on this field. We played very badly, we made a lot of mistakes. Still, something needs to be done with this field.
– It seemed that the players of “Lokomotiv” entered the field today without enthusiasm for victory.
– No, throughout the season we have a lot of enthusiasm. On the contrary, the opponents entered the field to prove a lot. They wanted to show their fans and coaches that they are no worse than the nominal favorites. That’s why you have to fight from the first minute to the end of every game. Today we didn’t have that. We tried to use all our strength in the situations we created.
– What was the main flaw today: tactics, creating chances or losing focus?
– I think the players were not able to devote themselves to the game. Considering the skill of the players in the squad, this is not bad for us. It is not easy to motivate the team for such games. Because the opponent tries to score in every micro-situation on their own field. If we lose in every episode, we will definitely not win.
– Did your team have good chances today, regardless of the result?
– We had more possession of the ball today and caught the opponent in a lot of defense. We switched from defense to attack faster, and when we were playing good passes, the field kept running out. We should have had good chances too. When Davron Hoshimov passed the ball from the wing, the pass went well, but the field was narrow.

– Like all teams. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Because the competition here is very big. All the teams in the league are fighting from the beginning to the end of the game and are trying to get points. We also need to be much better in the next games than we are now.
